To add an e-mail account, select “+ New mail” from the top left menu in the Mail application:

 

Then choose “+Add account”:

 

On the next page choose “Advanced setup”:

 

Then choose “Internet email”:

 

On the Internet email account page it is necessary to fill in the following fields:

Email address: enter your email address in this field
User name: enter your email address in this field
Password: kirjutage sinna lahtrisse oma e-posti aadressi parool
Account name: you can also enter your e-mail address in this field
Send your message using this name: enter your name or your company name in this field
Incoming email server: mail.yourdomain.com (“yourdomain.com” replace with your domain name)
Account type: IMAP4
Outgoing (SMTP) email server: mail.yourdomain.com (“yourdomain.com” replace with your domain name)

Following boxes need to be checked:

  • Outgoing server requires authentication
  • Use the same name and password for sending email
  • Require SSL for incoming email
  • Require SSL for outgoing email

When the selections are made, press the “Sign in” button:

 

When the account will be added, you will see the page below. Press the “Done” button to complete the setup:

If the e-mail account has already been added to Mail and you need to change the settings for that e-mail account, the instructions below will help you.

In the Mail program, select the e-mail account, of which settings you want to change, from the menu on the left:

 

Then, on the Manage accounts page, once again, select the e-mail account, of which settings you want to change:

 

On the next page, click the link“Options for syncing your content”:

 

Then select “Incoming and outgoing mail server info” at the bottom of the page:
