From 1 of February, outdated PHP versions (5.6, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.0) are supported only in the Business, Pro and Ultimate packages.
If you use the Starter package and your website no longer works after the mentioned date, you can find additional information and solutions HERE

Have you received a notification email mentioning that support for outdated PHP versions will be removed from the Starter web hosting package you are currently using on 01.02.2026, and you are wondering what to do next? This notice applies exclusively to the website(s) hosted on your web hosting account and does not affect any other services on the account or their functionality!
We sent the notification emails on the following dates:
02.12.2025
05.01.2026
26.01.2026
We have compiled the most common concerns and actions to take in this case:
(If you have a technical contact/webmaster for your website, we recommend forwarding this information to them!)

1. Your website software is up to date and/or you use the free SiteBuilder website creation tool
2. Your website software is not up to date
3. You previously had a website with our services, but currently you only use email (and the website is redirected elsewhere or the website is not redirected (redirect))
4. You have not had a website with our services, you only use email
5. You want to temporarily disable your website
6. You only want to change the PHP version
7. You want to switch to the Business package, which also includes support for older PHP versions

1. Your website software is up to date and/or you use the free SiteBuilder website creation tool

1. Log in to your cPanel account. If needed, you can find a guide here: HERE
2. Under Software -> MultiPHP Manager, choose “inherit” (after which the newest default PHP version available on the server is always used on the cPanel account and is updated automatically) or select a PHP version suitable for your website software – at least 8.1
A guide for changing the PHP version can be found here: HERE
3. Check whether everything on the website continues to work correctly.
– If it does, there is nothing else you need to do.
– If the website does not work, set the previous PHP version back in MultiPHP Manager and investigate the possible issue that prevented switching to the new PHP version. (If you have a website administrator/technical person, ask them to investigate this issue.)

2. Your website software is not up to date

1. Update your website CMS and its add-ons and themes to the latest versions
Note! We strongly recommend making backups before updating – both of the CMS files being updated and the database!
– If your website is installed via Installatron, you can do this from cPanel under Software -> Installatron Application Installer
– If your website is not installed via Installatron, check for updates via your website admin area or on the CMS vendor’s website
(If your website has a webmaster/technical manager, please forward the request to them!)
For example: In the case of WordPress (WP), the latest versions of WordPress itself, its plugins, and themes automatically include support for all newer PHP versions. However, before upgrading the PHP version, you should ensure that everything in the CMS is updated!
– If your website uses paid add-ons/themes, these also need to be updated – Installatron and the CMS itself usually cannot update them automatically. New versions must be ordered/downloaded via the developers’/creators’ support pages and then uploaded/activated on the website manually according to their instructions!
2. Log in to your cPanel account. If needed, you can find a guide here: HERE
3. Under Software -> MultiPHP Manager, select a PHP version suitable for your website software – at least 8.1
A guide for changing the PHP version can be found here: HERE

3. You previously had a website, but currently you only use email (and the website is redirected elsewhere or the website is not redirected (redirect))

Be sure to check that there are no old website files left in the web directory! If old website files that have not been updated for a long time are still present, some of them may likely contain a security vulnerability that could be exploited by malicious actors – for example, to publish ads for free via your “non-working” website or to attack other websites/servers. Therefore, we recommend checking the possible issue and either removing the files or blocking external WWW access to the (non-working) website/web directory!
1. Log in to your cPanel account. If needed, you can find a guide here: HERE
2. Under Files -> File Manager, you can open the directory tree on your account – you can check whether there are old website files in the public_html folder or under the domains folder in subfolders and their public_html folders.
3. Remove old website files and/or block access to the web directory – you can do this according to the guide found here: HERE
Note! If your website is redirected to another page, please keep the .htaccess file, as redirects are usually configured through it, and do not break the functionality of the web directory; otherwise the redirect will no longer work!
4. Under Software -> MultiPHP Manager, choose “inherit” (after which the newest default PHP version available on the server is always used on the cPanel account and is updated automatically) or select a PHP version suitable for your website software – at least 8.1
A guide for changing the PHP version can be found here: HERE

4. You have not had a website with our services, you only use email

1. Log in to your cPanel account. If needed, you can find a guide here: HERE
2. Under Files -> File Manager, you can open the directory tree on your account – you can check whether there are old website files in the public_html folder or under the domains folder in subfolders and their public_html folders (if any).
3. Under Software -> MultiPHP Manager, choose “inherit” (after which the newest default PHP version available on the server is always used on the cPanel account and is updated automatically)
A guide for changing the PHP version can be found here: HERE

5. You want to temporarily disable your website

1. Log in to your cPanel account. If needed, you can find a guide here: HERE
2. Block access to the web directory – you can do this according to the guide found here: HERE
Note! If your website is redirected to another page, please keep the .htaccess file, as redirects are usually configured through it, and do not break the functionality of the web directory; otherwise the redirect will no longer work!
3. Under Software -> MultiPHP Manager, choose “inherit” (after which the newest default PHP version available on the server is always used on the cPanel account and is updated automatically)

6. You only want to change the PHP version

7. You want to switch to the Business package, which also includes support for older PHP versions

If it is currently not possible to update the website software and/or you still need to use an outdated PHP version going forward, or you only want to change the package, we offer the option to switch from the Starter web hosting package to the Business package. In the Business, Pro, and Ultimate packages, in cooperation with CloudLinux (https://cloudlinux.com/features/#hardened-php), we can continue to support outdated PHP versions.
More detailed information about our web hosting packages is available on our website: HERE
You can change the package directly via the customer area by logging in with your customer area credentials (different from the cPanel admin environment credentials!), on this page: https://ca.radicenter.eu/et/clientenv/packages and clicking the “Upgrade package” button on the row of the desired package, then selecting the package that suits you on the next page. After package upgrade:
1. Log in to your cPanel account. If needed, you can find a guide here: HERE
2. Under Software -> MultiPHP Manager, choose a PHP version suitable for your website software.
